ANXIETY TRAITS AND JOINT HYPERMOBILITY Joint hypermobility is a connective tissue disorder which is characterised by increased joint laxity. In this condition the range of motion of the joint increases beyond its normal limit. Researches have shown that almost 50% of the people suffering with this condition show all the symptoms of anxiety which are manifested in different forms like Agoraphobia,Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia Disorder, PTSD, etc. CLINICAL ASSOCIATIONS : Before we discuss the relationship and associations of joint hypermobility with anxiety, we need to understand the cause and manifestation of anxiety.
